Katy Caulfield has been an RN since 1999. She earned her RN certification while attending a local college in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was born and raised. She later attended Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah, where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

During her career as an RN, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including the emergency department, family practice clinic director, Case Management, telemetry, and infusion. She moved to San Antonio, Texas 17 years ago. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. While in attendance at the University of Texas she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Katy has been married to her husband Chris for 17 years and they have two daughters ages 13 and 16.

Katy is excited for the opportunity to apply her nursing experience and advanced practice education to provide her patients with quality care while remaining mindful of patient’s individual preferences and needs. She values the importance of patient centered care, and she enjoys working with her team to ensure her patients are receiving the best care possible.
